Our state-of-the-art laboratories for computing, biological sciences, fabrication of integrated circuits, engineering technology and nanopower research are located in many of the 200 buildings on campus and equipped with the most modern instruments and machines. RIT is developing advanced green technologies, led by our programs in sustainability. Facilities include a new gold-certified LEED building that houses laboratories for engineering technologies. The Greater Rochester region is a center for the creative and fine arts, music and drama. Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls and the Finger Lakes provide abundant opportunities for recreation.
