Jill is excited to join the Academic Advisor Team in the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences in September 2023. Prior to coming to RIT, Jill was a High School Counselor at a charter school in Rochester for five years. Her favorite part of being a school counselor was helping students set goals and be successful in life after high school. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology at SUNY Geneseo, where she also played D-III field hockey. She then earned a M.Ed in Counselor Education at The College at Brockport, while holding a graduate assistantship in the Office of Special Sessions and working in the Student Learning Center.  
Outside of work, Jill enjoys traveling, playing recreational kickball with friends and fostering animals from the local humane societies in Rochester.
