MOSAIC Center

The MOSAIC Center supports students from all backgrounds as they explore the intersections of their identities and transform into leaders for a diverse and global society.

The Center is an inclusive community space where students, faculty, and staff organize, engage, and listen as a community. Anyone can stop into the Center and inquire about social justice issues, learn about their own identities, or just hang out.

The Center provides the RIT community with programming and educational opportunities, fosters an appreciation for diversity, and models a healthy campus climate and community through intergroup relations. Working as a community, the MOSAIC Center is more than just a home away from home, but a truly unique and transformative space on campus.

Be Our Guest

Want to reserve the MOSAIC Center for your study group, club meeting, or other activity? The Center is open to all faculty, staff, and students.

The MOSAIC Center is a vibrant hub for ALANA (African, Latinx, Asian, and Native American) students, offering a dynamic space for club meetings, studying, socializing, and educational programming by the RIT Division of Diversity and Inclusion. This inclusive space encourages intergroup dialogue while fostering community, creativity, and academic success, making it a cornerstone of campus life. The MOSAIC Center can be reserved by all RIT clubs and organizations through the EMS portal.

All requests should be made through EMS. ALANA student groups will receive priority confirmation for their Fall 2024 requests made before September 16 and for their Spring 2025 requests made before February 3. Any requests submitted after that date will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
