Theme Park Enthusiasts

RIT Theme Park Enthusiasts is back for Imagine RIT 2024 with another exciting collection of exhibits! This year, they will take guests on a trip through outer space! Every year, millions of people travel distances long and short to go to theme parks all over the world, and this year at Imagine RIT visitors will once again be able to experience an immersive theme park that is truly out of this world. We plan to have the same size exhibit as the previous few years to match the number of people who walk through our exhibit each year. We have designed new rides to feature this year in addition to many of our staple attractions that appear every year. We will include educational posters about the themed entertainment industry and the themes of our exhibits when applicable. This year, with a greater team working on our exhibit, we are excited to bring in more immersive experiences than ever before through our Manufacturing and Design and Theme teams. We will also be continuing our partnership with MAGIC to provide two virtual roller coaster attractions. Visitors will be able to ride member-designed roller coasters using Oculus Rift technology with 360 degree video capabilities. At the end of our walkthrough, guests will be able to take a photo in our themed photo-op booth! Since the themed entertainment industry is all about mixing creativity with technical innovation, the exhibit will be heavily themed to immerse our visitors in outer space and the aesthetic styles popularly associated with it. It is our goal, through interactive education, that all visitors learn something new whilst having an unforgettable experience. Imagine RIT is a festival of creativity and innovation both of which are the driving force behind progress in the amusement industry. We are hoping to once again immerse guests in the world of themed entertainment and inspire future creators and innovators.
