"Most of the interior design projects from our office are showrooms, corporate offices, museums or institutional spaces. We do not do residential interiors. In designing an interior space, we try to create a memorable experience - not through the use of expensive materials but, on the contrary, through the use of very simple, poor materials completely transformed by design. We use contrast of scale, imaginative lighting, unusual materials, and rarified spaces to create an environmental experience of elegance, strength, and timeless values." – Lella and Massimo Vignelli
