Fadil Sahiti is a faculty member in RIT Kosovo. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from Birkbeck, University of London. Before joining RIT Kosovo in 2016, for five years worked as an Associate Lecturer and Tutor for prestigious educational institutions in the UK such as Birkbeck, London School of Economics, University College London, and Hult Business School.
Research interests include the fields of entrepreneurship and management, particularly in the exploration of factors that influence technological and innovative changes of manufacturing firms in less developed economies, with special emphasis on Western Balkan countries. He does research mainly from a 'creative destruction' perspective, particularly in exploring issues of growth and structural change of manufacturing firms through innovation systems, entrepreneurship, and innovation policy approaches. A particular area of research interest is industrial policy to promote the development of industrial technology, as a premise for sustainable economic growth in developing economies.
