Myles was born and raised in southern New Hampshire. He attended Syracuse University for both his undergraduate and graduate studies, where he graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy and a minor in Educational Studies. Later he obtained a Master of Science in Higher Postsecondary Education and a Certificate in Data Science from Syracuse University. As an undergraduate, he spent a summer abroad in Madrid, Spain. He has spent time abroad during personal travel to countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Myles has been with RIT since the summer of 2023 as Global Programs Manager. Before that, he worked for Syracuse University for five and a half years in a similar role as an International Programs Advisor. In his spare time, he has volunteered as a tutor with Syracuse RISE (Refugee & Immigrant Self-Empowerment). He also finds time to pursue his love for outdoor activities such as roller skating, camping and hiking.
Kelly is the Assistant Director of Student Life at the RIT Dubai campus. She joined RIT in 2016 and her main responsibilities include all aspects of student life: student leadership development, extracurricular activities, athletics and student housing. She also works with RIT students studying abroad in Dubai from the Rochester, Croatia and Kosovo campuses.
Originally from Beloit, Wisconsin, she earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Political Science from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She earned her master's degree in International Studies from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Her study abroad experiences in Argentina and Spain along with her graduate studies and extensive travel experiences peaked her interest in social responsibility and fostering rich learning environments for students. She aspires to engage students through campus involvement which she believes ultimately cultivates responsible global citizens.
Ellen has been working at RIT Dubai since 2011, first as an Academic Advisor and now as the Director of Academic Services. She currently advises undergraduate and graduate students at RIT Dubai in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Service Leadership & Innovation, and manages the Year One course. She also provides academic support to Dubai students who are studying abroad at the Rochester, Croatia and Kosovo campuses.
Ellen holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She was a Guidance Counselor and College Counselor in the U.S. and the UAE prior to joining RIT Dubai. Ellen has lived in 5 states and spent 10 years of her childhood in Hong Kong. She’s been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to 25 countries and hopes to continue adding stamps to her passport! She has a passion for ballet, as well as a deep love for brownies, M&M’s, and bubble tea.
