September was National Life Insurance Awareness Month, but you can still take the time now to assess your coverage. If you do or do not have life insurance, now might be a good time for a checkup. If you have life insurance but feel it is no longer needed because it has outlasted its original purpose, giving it is an excellent way to support RIT. You can include the university as a beneficiary, or if you would benefit from an immediate charitable tax deduction, you can make RIT the owner of the policy as well.

Cindy comes from a family of scientists. With two older brothers who studied in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, she decided she wanted to gain an education in medicine and chose to enroll in RIT's physician assistant program.
Alumni like you play an important role in recruiting future Tigers by recommending RIT to prospective students within your families, communities, and professional networks. And now that role is even more valuable!
Did you know, when you refer a prospective student to RIT, that student is eligible for the RIT Alumni Referral Award, a $1,000 per year scholarship renewable for four years? Each alum can refer one undergraduate applicant per year for this award.
