Frederick E. Walrath

Studio potter Frederick Walrath (1871-1921) studied with Charles Binns at the New York State School of Ceramics in Alfred, NY. He worked at Greuby Faience Company in Boston before teaching at the Mechanics Institute from 1908 until 1918. Active in the local art scene, Walrath participated in the Art League of Rochester.
