George I. Parrish Jr.
During his lifetime, George Parrish (1930-1992) was known for multiple art styles and subject matters. He was comfortable in oils, line drawings, watercolor, historical realism, caricature, and print media. He is best known for his historical works. Parrish was born and spent most of his life in Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Southern College, and studied with Norman Rockwell.
