Michael Wilcox

Michael Wilcox is both one of the foremost bookbinders in the world. Born in England, he moved to Canada in the early 1960s. His hand-bound volumes are prized for their artistry and fine craftsmanship. Wilcox has been commissioned to bind first editions of “Dracula” and “The Wind in the Willows”, among many others. Wilcox's craft encompasses all aspects of the book, from cover design to paper selection to setting the binding itself.
