Ramon Santiago

Ramón Santiago (1943-2001), born in Rochester, NY, began painting in 1961 while attending Mt. San Antonio College in California. He returned to Rochester to study art at RIT in 1963. After serving in the United States Marine Corps in the mid- 1960s his professional art career began. Influenced by Chagall, Picasso, Dali and others, Santiago's work is a figurative style with dramatic fantasy.
