Warren Mack

Warren Mack was a professor of horticulture at Penn State from 1924 until his death in 1952. During this time he not only conducted important research in plant nutrition, but also became an amateur printmaker, creating many engravings and woodcuts. Many of his art works take as subject matter the fruits and vegetables he studied in his horticultural research. (Information from Penn State)
