You can reset your password one of two ways:

1. Visit: https://start.rit.edu Click on the "Forgotten Password" link on the left. You will be prompted for your RIT username and UID (University ID) number. An email will be sent to the external email address on file with your account.
2. Call the ITS Service Desk at 585.475.HELP (4357). You will be asked to verify your identity by providing your UID (University ID) number.

You can find your RIT username one of two ways:

1. Visit: https://start.rit.edu/ Click on the "Forgotten Username" link on the left. You will be prompted to enter the external email address that is on file with your account. An email will be sent to that address listing your RIT username.
2. Call the ITS Service Desk at 585.475.HELP (4357). You will be asked to verify your identity by providing your UID (University ID) number.
