Traveling Tigers

Traveling Tiger events bring you to the location of one of Saunders' valued corporate partners. To register for a Traveling Tigers event, please select a date and fill in all the required personal information details. Each event is limited to 20-30 Saunders College of Business matriculated students (undergraduate and graduate).

A MANDATORY pre-visit meeting is scheduled the week before each event. You will be sent a Zoom link when you register. Please plan accordingly for these required meetings.

Students must provide their transportation unless otherwise noted.

Traveling Tigers will be visiting Rexel USA, Inc.’s recently acquired local subsidiary Horizons Solutions. With 26k employees worldwide, and over $20B in sales during 2023, Rexel is a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies and services, serving three main end markets: industrial, commercial, and residential across 21 countries. They are also certified as a Great Place to Work.

Two Campus Recruiters will be at Saunders College of Business to discuss M&T Bank’s Leadership Development Rotational Programs, there’s 5 of them total, as well as full-time, and co-op opportunities for current students and recent grads. Students attended to hear about agile project management. Tiger Den: McKinsey and Company - October 13, 2023

Thriving in the Consulting Industry
A Roadmap to Success McKinsey and Company
This workshop will focus on consulting careers at McKinsey & Company.  It will cover the life of a consultant at McKinsey, entry points for students, McKinsey within the consulting ecosystem, and how to successfully navigate the interview process.  Students will receive insights into resume preparation, interviewing skills (case interview, behavioral interview, etc.), and action steps to stand out during the interview process.

Students visited Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality management and food service management that provides food and beverage concessions, premium dining, entertainment, lodging, and retail at many large venues. These include sports stadiums, entertainment complexes, national and state parks, airports, and casinos. View trip photos.

Dr. Barry Bloom, President and COO of Xenia Hotels & Resorts was invited by the international hospitality and service innovation department for an open forum with RIT students, faculty and staff. Dr. Bloom is responsible for direct oversight of the asset management and project management functions as well as a variety of strategic and operational corporate functions of Xenia.

"Carlson Cowork was founded as a place for business to grow." It is a community of entrepreneurs seeking a space to grown their business ideas, network, and collaborate. Co-working invigorates idea generation, reduces isolation, and provides a proving-ground for building brand identities.
