At RIT, researchers from several colleges are interested in cultural heritage imaging, preservation, and research.
Working with internal and external collaborators and supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Mellon Foundation, Kress Foundation, and Whiting Foundation as well as other funding streams, our research and activities leverage RIT’s expertise to support and amplify the work of scholars and practitioners in libraries, archives, and museums through image capture and processing, audio registration, applications of imaging science and color science methods and technologies, game design , and more.
