Crashtest Games
Crashtest Games is a group affiliated with the RIT School of Interactive Games and Media that meets weekly to play, test, discuss, and design games of all sorts, including board games, card games, and digital games. We welcome students, faculty, and the public to join us for games and other events every week.
Meetings are Monday nights starting at 6:00 in 2150 in the MAGIC building. All game designers and players are welcome!

Crashtest Guidelines:
1. Crashtest exists primarily as a service to IGM students; always give right-of-way to newer RIT projects or specific instructional gameplay. Don’t break out Cards Against Humanity until everyone has had a chance to test their games, especially students; some of them have grades depending on it.
2. No drive-by playtests; If you want people to test your game, make sure you’re contributing by playtesting other people’s projects and giving them your thoughtful, constructive feedback.
3. To maintain a constructive and supportive environment for a free exchange of ideas, non-disclosure agreements are not permitted. The same goes for non-constructive criticism!
4. We’re always looking for new ideas! If you have an idea for an event, guest speaker, etc., or would like to invite a guest speaker or arrange any activities beyond the normal Crashtest meetings, please let us know!
