Golisano College dean stepping down after 2010-2011 academic year
National search for replacement to be conducted

The founding dean of the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences is stepping down.
Jorge Díaz-Herrera, who became dean of the college in 2002, will continue to serve in that position for the remainder of the current academic year while a national search is conducted for his replacement. He will then be on sabbatical during the 2011-2012 academic year in order to pursue professional interests and research.
