Ph.D. student publishes paper on Human-Centered AI

Muhammad Raees, a computing and information sciences Ph.D. student advised by Konstantinos Papangelis, assistant professor in the School of Interactive Games and Media, published “From Explainable to Interactive AI: A Literature Review on Current Trends in Human-AI Interaction” in the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies. The paper explores the evolution of human-centered AI, advocating for greater user agency in developing and operating AI systems beyond mere explainability and contestability.
