Air Gap Lab and Server Room
The Air Gap Lab features a network of computers that is physically separated from the RIT internal network and the Internet. It provides students a safe environment to conduct a wide variety of security exercises without risking harm to the broader community. In the rack room behind the lecture room, multiple sets of network devices and servers are available for students to conduct blue, red, and white team exercises. The rack room is separated from the lecture room by a sliding glass door, and that ensures a quiet learning environment for both lab activities and instruction.
