A teaching circle is a small group of faculty and other instructional staff who meet regularly on campus and/or via Zoom to discuss a specific teaching and learning topic. Previous participants said some of the best aspects were:
- "Sense of community and purpose"
- "Sharing of best practices"
- "Feeling supported in trying new things"
- "Gaining insights, strategies, and teaching recommendations from other instructors"
- "Making new connections across disciplines"
- "I enjoyed being able to interact with faculty who I wouldn't normally meet"
If you want to propose a topic and facilitate a teaching circle for the Fall semester or both Fall and Spring semesters, please submit a proposal
as early as possible but no later than August 13, 2024. Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis.
