Saunders College of Business hosted its first Women’s Leadership Weekend with over 450 registrants, showcasing its 13th annual Power Your Potential (PYP) and 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS). Throughout the year, Saunders students, faculty, and staff offer opportunities and events that celebrate women through programming.
Both events are geared toward mentoring women to become change agents in their communities and industries throughout their careers.
Power Your Potential invited businesswomen to hear insights from award-winning author, renowned keynote speaker, and chief growth officer at Nortal, Elizabeth Kiehner ’22 (EMBA), and panels focused on negotiating tactics and corporate culutre within a Inc. 5000 organization.
The student-run Leadership Academy @ Saunders hosted the Women’s Leadership Summit, including high schools from Monroe County, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, and as far away as Pennsylvania to inspire tomorrow’s future leaders. The summit invited more than 20 alumni as speakers and panelists, including JoAnne Ryan '04 (health systems administration), president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
