New ASL Interpreting Feature in Zoom

What's new?

Zoom now provides a dedicated sign language interpreter window, which can be resized, and rearranged during a meeting. Interpreters will have a new Sign Language Interpreter Role. This new capability also records the interpreter video independently, which can be resized during playback.

RIT recommends this new method for ASL interpretation in Zoom for spring 2024 classes and beyond. You may use this method for non-course meetings before spring term, but we encourage instructors not to change mid-semester.
