Saunders College of Business challenges your team for a chance to win!
WHO: NY State Region #10 DECA Chapters looking to raise money to attend state or national DECA competitions.
WHAT: Sponsorship funding up to $1,000 to support your DECA Chapter at the upcoming competition.
WHERE: Online submission to communications@saunders.rit.edu
THE CHALLENGE: Review our Saunders College website, social media, and any other communications you have received to evaluate the content, organization, navigation, and aesthetics. Then, create a presentation providing the following information:
- What Saunders communications did you review?
- What are the Strengths of Saunders College of Business communications? Note why you feel these are strengths.
- What are the Weaknesses of Saunders College of Business communications? Note why you feel these are weaknesses.
- Are there any Opportunities for Saunders College of Business communications?
- Are there any Threats to Saunders College of Business communications?
- For each area, please use Saunders' examples (what website or social media location are you viewing?) as to where the improvement could be made.
- Please cite resources or best practices that support each of your suggestions.
WHEN: Presentation (e.g., Infographic, PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.) submitted to communications@saunders.rit.edu by Thursday, December 14, 2023. Winners will be announced after the regional conference the week of the 18th. Please include the following in your presentation:
- Challenge details as outlined above
- Your DECA high school
- Name and email address of your DECA advisor
- Names and email addresses of DECA members in your chapter
- Outline of costs requested, up to $1,000. Please list the estimated costs for the team (e.g., student travel and expenses, advisor travel, team materials, DECA blazer, etc.)
