Imagine RIT

What do space exploration, Japanese drumming, and a human hamster wheel have in common? They are part of this year’s Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival, sponsored by Rochester Regional Health. This showcase, free and open to the public, returns to an in-person event on April 23, with more than 250 exhibits lined up. New this year is a Technology, the Arts, and Design competition for students, vying for a $5,000 prize! A one-hour broadcast featuring some of the exhibits in the Gordon Field House can be seen at 10 a.m. that day on RIT's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RITfb or on 13WHAM’s Facebook page. We hope you can join us in-person, or online wherever you are, to see how RIT is shaping the future and improving the world through creativity and innovation.

ROAR Day

ROAR graphic

Calling all Tigers! ROAR Day, RIT’s annual giving day, is April 21. On campus, our students will have the opportunity to participate in some ROAR Day activities. We invite you, our alumni, to join the campus community in making your annual gift to RIT on ROAR Day. When you roar for RIT, you are supporting a 16 years-long tradition of giving back. Your gifts to RIT support scholarships, student life, academics, athletics, performing arts, research, diversity, entrepreneurship and so much more. Tigers roar and we’re counting on you to roar for RIT on April 21. Make your ROAR Day gift online and if you make a minimum online gift of $50, you’ll receive an RIT beach towel (some restrictions apply, see the website for details). Save the date of April 21 and ROAR for RIT!
