Adrian Stadthagen
I’m Adrian Stadthagen and I’m from Managua, Nicaragua. I’m a first-year student in the mechanical engineering technology program. Since I was very little, I’ve had a passion for assembling and dis-assembling things, which drove me into having great interest specifically in the mechanical engineering technology program. I am also a hands-on learner so it helps a lot to be in more project-based classes.
I’ve switched schools twice throughout my 4 years in high school, however I believe that I still managed to accomplish a lot. I founded and was president of the robotics club of the school I attended in Nicaragua, where I was president and vice president of the Debate and model UN club as well. After having to move to Miami due to unfortunate situations in the country at the time, I became the president of the Chess and games club at the high school I attended as well as played varsity Baseball for 3 years.
When it comes to my goals and career path, I am not completely certain in what I wish to do after college. I have interest in research and development but I think that being exposed to different subjects this year will help me have a clearer path for both my career and aspirations on my chosen career.
I would say that I am a very social and friendly person, I like to help others and is why I’m heavily involved with the NGO The Rainbow Network in Nicaragua. A little more about me would be that I was a sponsored Yu-Gi-Oh! Player and competed and placed in top cut at multiple highly competitive events such as national and regional championships. Furthermore, I ran a successful card game and streetwear online store. Through this I’ve learned a lot that I am now applying to my journey into the stock market.
