Process Lab

The Process Lab is home to digital output technologies with a Xerox 8080 toner-based digital press and wide-format inkjet printers from Roland and Canon, together with and accompanying raster image processors for production digital printing and wide-format signage. Students learn about creating contract color proofs using the latest color measurement equipment and output devices capable of expanded-gamut output, and conduct research on myriad aspects of digital print production in this lab, including printing on textiles and with Ultra-Violet cured inkjet inks. Workflows for packaging and commercial printing are supported with software from Esko and Kodak Printergy.
