SD-CoMETS Scholars - Lucas Ouimette

I am an Electrical Engineering Technology major. I chose CET because I was interested in engineering and I am an applied learner who will gain from hands-on experience. In addition, research and the potential to make industrial connections are something I find very interesting. That being said, I feel that CET and this approach to learning will prepare me the most for my future career in the industry.

SD-CoMETS will impact my RIT career because it will provide the necessary knowledge and support I will need for my career in the future. In addition, it will help me stay motivated throughout school.

I am from mid-coast Maine. I have a strong interest in computers and electronics; I have made my own 3D-printed mechanical keyboard switch. I love to produce, mix and master music and I have been producing music for close to two years.
