SD-CoMETS Scholars - Onvida Serixay

My name is Onvida and I am majoring in Computer Engineering Technology. I chose this major and CET for the hands-on experience and smaller classroom settings. I've been able to build a close-knit community from my classes to the organizations that I'm a part of. I'm able to connect with so many people here at RIT that are from or around my hometown of Buffalo. 

Being part of the SD-CoMETS allows me to continue building my network and resources to support myself and those around me. I enjoy spending my time with my friends on campus and sometimes off campus.
