SD-CoMETS Scholars - Tyler Fogarty

I am in the Civil Engineering Technology Program, looking to get my minor in Environmental Sustainability and a masters in Project Management.

The SD-CoMETS scholars’ program will impact my time here at RIT in all aspects. It will provide me with the resources to succeed academically by connecting me with professors and further expanding my understanding of the resources available to me. While this program will also help reduce the overall cost of college, which is extremely beneficial. This program is a great way to meet new people and connect with them.

I chose Civil Engineering Technology because of the hands-on approach aspects included in the college. The technology-based teaching is the best way for me to learn and demonstrate my attributes. 

I am from Buffalo New York. I have been running track for the past 7 years and still run in my free time. I also collect watches which is a hobby of mine. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and family.
