SD-CoMETS Scholars - Jennifer Motsko

My name is Jennifer Motsko and I am a first year student from Southwick, MA. I am majoring in Civil Engineering Technology. My interest in Civil Engineering arose in high school when I found my skills in working with teams or groups of people in hands-on projects. I found Civil Engineering Technology to be the best major for me to apply these skills. I hope that in the future I am able to get a job in Civil Engineering where I can work alongside many outgoing people and hopefully work outside on job sites a fair amount. Outside of my major, I enjoy playing volleyball, baking, and spending time with my family and friends. By being in SD-CoMets, I have been able to make connections with more people in my major along with other people in the engineering technology department. This has helped make my transition into RIT much easier and has allowed me to interact with people I may not have met otherwise.
