Global Food Festival: Croatian
The Commons and Artesano will serve Croatian food for International Education Week's Global Food Festival on Thursday, October 15.

The Commons - Dinner only
Entrées
Brudet: $8.99 - A hearty tomato and seafood stew
Zagrebacki Odrezak: $7.99 - A thin fried pork cutlet with ham and gouda (similar to chicken cordon bleu) accompanied with a white onion puree
Both entrees come with a choice of two sides:
- Absmalcane Mahune – Green Beans sautéed with garlic, breadcrumbs and butter
- Blitva – Boiled Potatoes and Swiss Chard with a hint of garlic
- Polenta with roasted peppers and Caramelized onions
- Dinstani Kupus – Sauteed Cabbage
Dessert
Fritule – Fried Dough ball topped with powdered sugar
Artesano - All day
Croatian Walnut Roll - $ 2.99/ slice - Sweet dough with a rum-infused walnut filling
Chef Anecdote:
Chef de Cuisine Daniel Levato chose these Croatian dishes because he had never made Croatian food before and was looking forward to a new challenge. He also is a BIG Game of Thrones fan and they filmed scenes in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where one of our global campuses is located.
