Work & Life Down Under
What's it like living and working down under? RIT Global Ambassadors Marshall Hurst and Diana Kulawiec share their experiences interning and working in Australia and New Zealand.
Marshall Hurst is currently an MBA student in the College of Business and as an undergrad worked as a summer intern in Australia studied abroad in Croatia for a semester. While in Australia he worked at a start-up company that provides quality online speech and occupational therapy services to families in Australia. Exploring Australia and Europe has made him passionate about travel and encouraging other Deaf students to pursue international experiences.
Diana Kulaweic is a Biomedical Engineering major in the College of Engineering and studied abroad in New Zealand at the University of Canterbury and completed two co-ops in New Zealand. She was attracted to New Zealand to retrace her family heritage and see where her mom grew up. New Zealand quickly became her second home and inspired her to seek out opportunities to complete two co-op experiences in New Zealand.
