Rolleston, Irizarry present at Association for Institutional Research Conference
Rob Rolleston, data scientist in the Institutional Research, Data and Analytics office, presented “Performing Group Comparison with Multiple Levels of Statistical Analysis” and Sara Irizarry, senior data analyst for IRDA, co-led a discussion session on “Understanding COVID-19 Black Box Effects on Retention Data” at the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) Conference on May 31 in Cleveland. AIR is a professional organization that supports the growth and development of institutional researchers in the areas of data and analytics, data management and governance, evidence-based decision-making, institutional effectiveness, assessment, strategic planning, and business intelligence.

Construction nearly complete for new research building
The new RIT research building is in its final construction phase with exterior work nearly complete and interior design set to begin. Structural work that started in early 2022 is expected to be complete by fall 2024 with move-in of several campus research teams by the new year.
