What We Do
Auxiliary Services Strategy and Sustainability team is responsible for vision setting, organizational strategies, change management efforts, and implementation of performance metrics to accelerate growth across Auxiliary Services. We are responsible for advancing sustainability and conservation efforts among department leadership, front-line staff, and other campus administrators, faculty, and students to provide knowledge, skills, and motivation to integrate sustainable practices into Auxiliary Services' daily operations and strategic planning efforts.
Sustainability
We will think globally and act locally and regionally to:
- Raise environmental awareness, educate, and influence the RIT community to practice sustainable methods.
- Work with our suppliers to minimize our environmental impact and conserve natural resources, particularly through energy and water conservation.
- Minimize waste streams by recycling and reusing materials.
- Make environmental considerations an important aspect of our decision-making.
We acknowledge how our business activities impact our natural resources and we are committed to minimizing this impact through resource conservation and best practices.
