Asllani, students present paper at Singapore conference

Iris Asllani, research associate professor in biomedical engineering, presented “Low Field MRI as a Potential Equalizer: Addressing Healthcare Disparities Through Socioeconomic Status and MRI Access in the United States” at the ISMRM 2024 conference in Singapore on May 6. The paper was co-authored by students Michael Bermingham, Mikkael Lamoca, Roman Czornobil, Abby Dale, and Amelia Gilbert, and Sandra Rothenberg, professor, management and public policy; Jeffrey Burnette, associate professor, sociology and anthropology; and James Myers, associate provost, International Education and Global Programs.
