2024 Showcase -- Call for Participation

The Frameless Labs XR Showcase is a day of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality demos, installations, and performances. We invite submissions from users and creators of immersive technologies and experiences involved in academia, non-profit and educational organization, and industry.

MAGIC Spell Studios, Rochester Institute of Technology

Presentation categories

Submissions should be entered in one of the following categories:

Presenter expectations

• Demos and WIP experiences will run continuously and presenters will be present at the showcase to show off their project (approx. 12-4pm).
• Installations will run continuously and presenters will be present at the showcase to show off their project (approx. 12-4pm).
• Performances will be scheduled for sometime during the duration of the showcase (Exact time TBD and presenters are expected to schedule set up and break down time).
• All participants are required to supply their own equipment unless arrangements are made ahead of time with event coordinators.

Upon acceptance, all submissions, regardless of category, will require a 2-minute (max) teaser video that gives a general overview of the project for prospective visitors. Videos should be captioned with all projects being accessible to our deaf and hard of hearing community.
