Francesco Aiello

Francesco Aiello, MD, MBA is a Professor of Surgery and faculty member of the University of Massachusetts Medical School Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.  He is a graduate of RIT's Biology Program and went on to Medical School and also earned his MBA.  He splits his time between clinical care and administrative duties.  He is a Senior Medical Director and Vice President of the UMass Memorial Medical Group,  Chief Medical Officer for Revenue Management and Associate Chief Quality Officer for UMass Memorial Health.  He has a special interest in healthcare economics, quality, clinical program development, ambulatory expansion and coding and documentation.  He remains clinically and academically active as a full Professor and Vascular Surgeon, giving lectures at numerous national meetings while still maintaining a busy clinical practice taking great pride in delivering excellent care and commitment to his patient population.  When Dr. Aiello is not busy at work, he enjoys spending time with wife Sandy and two children John and Maeve:  traveling, going to sporting events, cooking and relaxing.
