National Council - Chrysa Charno

Chrysa Charno ’03, MBA ’09  CEO/Clinical Director at AcuteKids Pediatric Urgent Care, Chrysa is an Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care PA who set out to change Pediatric Urgent Care in Rochester. AcuteKids offers services only to children from birth to 21 years of age and operates in two locations in the Rochester area. Chrysa received her Physician Assistant degree in 2003 and MBA from RIT in 2009, the first PA to graduate from the college. She also was the first PA to be recognized by RIT as a Distinguished Alumni in 2012 and the first PA to achieve fellowship recognition for The College of Urgent Care Medicine, previously an exclusive physician-only group. In her spare time she enjoys teaching medical students, reading, collecting wine and sitting on the sidelines at sporting events for her three children Ryan (13), Matilynn (11) and Taylor (8)!
