Kenneth Persaud, MD '02 Biology
Dr. Kenneth Persaud MD ’02 Biology, graduated from UNAM Medical College '05, is a nationally recognized thought leader and change agent with a career of progressive and increasing responsibility across healthcare sectors; in creating, scaling and operating businesses while working with payers, health systems, and provider organizations towards improved patient health outcomes. A physician executive with a record of bringing together high caliber teams and setting strategic direction to execute on new business growth, with constant focus on great company culture, and inspired leadership, Ken entered healthcare administration after practicing as a primary care physician. His combination of a provider perspective with operational and business acumen has provided vision, credibility, unique insight and problem-solving advantages in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare arena.
An individual with a genuine passion for continuous organizational improvement and a continual pursuit of innovation, Ken is adept in communications to board members, investors, health plans and frequent healthcare speaker on topics such as the future of healthcare, harnessing data-driven insights and provider centric healthcare solutions. Ken serves on boards of organizations with goals of improving the health and well-being of local communities including: YMCA Middle TN, RISE HEALTH & Meals on Wheels.
Ken can be found spending his free time at a wrestling match or a volleyball game cheering on his son and daughter alongside his wife of 20 years, or hiking a local trail enjoying the outdoors as often as possible. Kenneth currently serves as the CEO of White Wilson Medical Associates, where he leads the company's pursuit of strategic growth and commercializing innovative healthcare care offerings.
