Nicholas Rizzo
Nicholas Rizzo ’19 earned his MS in Health Systems Administration at RIT in 2019. He has been an active member of the advisory board of RIT’s Health Systems Management MS program since 2017, and is now an adjunct professor in the College of Health Sciences and Technology.
Nick is currently the Assistant Director of Nursing for the operating rooms at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital, overseeing the daily operations 38 ORs and multiple procedural areas in Rochester's only Level 1 trauma center.
He is a proud alumnus of both the University of Rochester and Monroe Community College's nursing programs. He also holds a BA in cellular and molecular biology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In his free time, Nick volunteers with HUGS, a Rochester-based foundation that provides life-changing surgery to children with congenital facial deformities including cleft lip, cleft palate, cleft rhinoplasty, and microtia in Ecuador, Vietnam, and Guatemala.
