Joymarie Parker
Joymarie is a global marketing and partnerships leader who has been at the helm of launching and developing campaigns, events and partnerships that help push culture forward, drive brand relevance and connect brands and consumers in tech, entertainment, sports and financial services. Her experience includes consumer, business and partnership marketing roles at Meta (across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook), Spotify and American Express where she's spearheaded award-winning work like #BuyBlack Friday, Meta House & Casa Instagram activations at Art Basel, Joe Freshgoods at ComplexCon, and the #itsOktoNot Creator Well-Being Franchise. Her specialties include integrated marketing, storytelling, large and small scale experiential and events, sponsorship and partnerships and creator marketing. Her latest career move is leading the US Partnerships team at Strava -- a fitness tracking app used by more than 120 million athletes around the world. In this role, she will build and execute relationships with creators, community builders, brand partners and event organizers in sport. Joymarie is also the co-host of Joblogues, a career podcast for multicultural professionals that's been featured by ESSENCE Fest, ELLE, Refinery29, Forbes, Entrepreneur and partnered with brands like Walmart, American Express and OneUnited Bank. She currently resides in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay area where she is active with her VIVE Church community, leading a team of digital creatives and helping to shape the HYPE Network -- a global venture bridging the gap between faith-based innovators, business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors.
