Active participation of RIT K students in the International Cybersecurity Exercise 2024.
In partnership with Iowa State University, the third annual Cyber Security Defense Competition (CSDC), the International Cybersecurity Exercise 2024, has once again set a benchmark for nurturing global cybersecurity talent. This year's #ISEAGE event went beyond mere competition, providing a vibrant platform for collaboration, learning, and international camaraderie. The event was a memorable experience for all participants.
Two teams from RITK enthusiastically joined the competition:
Team 1: Dijar Hashani, Orinda Visoka, Rona Hoxha, Adea Krasniqi, Erblina Jahiu, Etna Nura Team 2: Dea Tahiraj, Lum Zhubi, Deni Turku, Alisa Qatipi, Diella Doli, Albin Morina, Amela Kajtazi, Dalina Canhasi.
In addition to their participation in the Cyber Security Defense Competition, RIT K students showcased their prowess in hackathons, tackling complex challenges and demonstrating their expertise in cybersecurity. Their dedication and innovative solutions not only highlighted their technical skills but also their commitment to addressing critical cybersecurity issues.
The CSDC, now in its third year, transcended mere competition, offering a dynamic arena for collaboration, learning, and the fostering of international camaraderie. This year's #ISEAGE event left a lasting impression on all participants, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the cybersecurity community.
Dr. Debabrata Samanta, Program Head & Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing and Information Technologies, led the students in this cybersecurity exercise.
