Twenty-five students from various majors collaborated with Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) to develop recruitment strategies for RIT’s annual EUREKA! design workshop.

Team Pacman, a group of undergraduate students from Rochester Institute of Technology, placed second among 54 entries from competing universities in the recent Paperboard Packaging Alliance’s national Student Design Challenge.

Middle and high school teachers acquired new technological tools to advance the digital components of their curriculums during a weeklong workshop taught by School of Design faculty. 

Since graduating in 2018, Jonathan Conrad has done design work all over the world, including for French fashion designer Christian Louboutin and Vogue Italia.

Dozens of students and recent alumni were recognized for their design excellence in the global competition.

Joe Burke '89 (graphic design) invented a lightweight, durable ball designed for full-speed indoor play that leaves windows, walls and decor unharmed. 

Shortly after Marcy (Thurman) Brenner ’87 (new media marketing) arrived at RIT in the fall of 1984, she caught a glimpse of Chris Brenner ’87 (graphic design) skateboarding down the Quarter Mile. They later learned they lived on the same floor in Community Service Clubhouse. 

The winning design in this year’s Imagine RIT poster contest was created by Maggie Blaisdell, a first-year student majoring in graphic design.

Always willing to lend a hand to his current and former students, Chris Lyons received the Rochester Advertising Federation's 2019 Silver Achievement Award.
