NTID gets $1M for deaf scientists-in-training program

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences has awarded a grant to RIT that is expected to provide $1.025 million in funding over five years to develop a Scientists-In-Training Program for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Undergraduates.

AMPrint Center receives liquid metal 3D printer

High costs of powdered metals and the need for 3D printing/additive manufacturing equipment that can accommodate these materials are challenges that are being met by RIT and Vader Systems. RIT recently installed Vader’s first Mk1 liquid metal 3D printer in the AMPrint Center.
