This position is ideal for students who would like to gain experience working in a research center focusing on a multitude of projects such as Health Literacy, Deaf women’s pregnancy outcomes, sign language measures development, sign language variations, and promoting Deaf Scientists. Students will also gain experience working in a Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing environment where ASL is the main language of all meetings.
Duties
Conduct literature reviews
Collect, transcribe, & analyze data
Prepare materials for recruitment, project tracking, and presentations
Assist with other duties as needed
Ability to work independently and multitask
Ability to communicate 1:1 in American Sign Language
Organized, responsible, and have good people skills
Good with technology and can learn new programs
