From 29 September to 3 October 2003, Mr. Eric Soriano and Ms. Giselle Montero of DeLa Salle University-College of St. Benilde participated in a series of seminars, meetings, and classroom observations designed to meet the needs of CSB. The learning experiences were designed and coordinated by Mr. Paul Seidel and Mr. John Macko of the NTID Center on Employment. A significant number of NTID faculty members and Center on Employment staff participated in the training. Prior to arriving in Rochester, Mr. Soriano and Ms. Montero participated in three preparatory videoconferences between themselves (in Manila) and Mr. Seidel and Mr. Macko of the NTID NCE (in Rochester).
Additional follow-up videoconferences will be conducted prior to Mr. Seidel and Mr. Macko visiting Manila for on-site follow-up in January of 2004.
