Zwickl co-publishes paper on computational literacy
Benjamin Zwickl, associate professor, School of Physics and Astronomy, co-published “How Physics Students Develop Disciplinary Computational Literacy” in arXiv. The paper argues a theoretical perspective of computation as a new type of literacy consisting of material, cognitive, and social elements that vary by discipline and examines how disciplinary computational literacy looks and is built at an undergraduate level.
