NCAA recognizes women’s team as Division I
The NCAA announced on Monday that the women’s hockey team will be a full-fledged member of Division I beginning with the 2014–2015 season. RIT, a member of College Hockey America, will be eligible for full postseason play.

The women’s soccer team is ranked 21st in the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Division III national preseason poll, released Monday. Last season the Tigers advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the program’s history.
