More than 1,600 Tiger fans attended the inaugural One SpiRIT: Global Hockey Festival. The event linked RIT’s main campus with its international campuses in Croatia, Dubai and Kosovo via Cisco Telepresence videoconferencing technology and featured carnival games, live music and food.

Mixed weekend for men, women
The men’s hockey team won Friday against St. Lawrence in the regular-season opener but lost to Clarkson on Saturday. The women’s team lost to University of New Hampshire on Friday and tied Northeastern University on Saturday.

Women’s soccer ties St. Lawrence
Kiana Richards scored in the 89th minute as the women’s soccer team tied St. Lawrence University 1-1 on Saturday afternoon. It was her first goal of the season and second of her career.
